These weekly sessions, will take students through all the necessary platforms and skills needed to start a career in Social media marketing. Students will learn Graphic design, Photography, paid advertisements and marketing techniques to build a skill set that’s extremely valuable in the workplace or for running their own business. The sessions will provide students with Google and Facebook accreditations as well as the chance to create a portfolio of social media work based on real businesses. By completing these programs, you will stand out from the crowd when applying for (part-time or fulltime) jobs.

Class one: Monday 18 October 4-6:00pm
Will focus on social media basics as well as how to create content using the graphic design platform Canva.
Class two: Monday 25 October 4-5:30pm
Will refresh students in Canva basics as well as photography skills.
Homework: Facebook Blueprint course.
Class three: Monday 1 November 4-5:30pm
Will go over social media paid ads as well as the Google marketing platform.
Homework: Google Garage course.
Class four: Monday 8 November 4-5:30pm
Will offer students an opportunity to apply their skills and make content and recommendations for a real-life businesses.
